Want Lower Payroll Tax Rates?
You know? A lot of people are complaining about payroll tax rates and how the rich don’t pay as much of a rate than the poor, which isn’t even true. The poor, really poor, do not pay taxes. I don’t know of any rich people, the 1 percenters, who don’t pay any taxes. To me, the tax breaks the rich get is a reason to get rich! What ever happened to internal drive, gusto!? That just disappeared from our vernacular and in its place is this idea that we are owed something from the government. Well I have some news for you! The government’s existence is not to give us, the citizens it governs, hand outs. It is to govern. To make sure that we are doing things lawfully and to assist. You know? Teach a man to fish stuff. The government has been giving us fish for far too long.
